Land Department calls for sustainable economy (Staff Report) / 3 May 2013 The Government of Dubai Land Department (LD) has remarked at the large number of investors and those interested in real estate in the emirate that it had attracted during the International Property Show 2013 held at the Dubai International Convention and Exhibition Centre. Sultan Butti bin Mejren, Director General of LD, commended the efforts of a professional team of experts and specialists who are passionate about encouraging investment in the real estate sector and where on hand to respond to enquiries and provide consultations for investors and dealers. The aim is to continue to contribute to a sustainable economy through development, positioning the emirate as a world leader and a hub for the export of green technologies and programmes.The stand also offered insight regarding the latest developments in the market and shared information about the services provided by the LD through various institutions. Seven platforms were present on the stand, with a group of officials of the LD and property specialists available to answer questions.
