Neal Martin USA April 8 2013 Author page » Author page » Author page » Author page » On April 6, the Department of Agriculture’s Farm Service Agency and Commodity Credit Corporation sent to the White House a proposed rule that would allow the federal government to trade excess sugar for biofuel. The rule, which the White House Office of Information and Regulatory Affairs has 90 days to review, would allow the federal government to purchase excess sugar and sell it to biofuel manufacturers under the Feedstock Flexibility Program for Bioenergy Producers.
